Global Bridgefor animals

Reach a person, not a ticket queue

For an animal in danger, write with a photograph and a location. That single message saves us the two follow-up emails we would otherwise send.

The fastest route for an animal in trouble is email with a photograph attached, because it reaches the duty coordinator and the nearest partner at the same time. Phone works too, but a photograph tells us in seconds what a call takes ten minutes to describe.

Write to us

We answer within two working days. Urgent animal cases are handled the same day, so put the word urgent in the subject line.

Who to write to

  • Emergency animal helpline

An injured or trapped animal, a shelter left without feed, an evacuation request that cannot wait. Send photographs, exact location and a phone number that will answer.

  • Adoption and foster care

Questions about a specific animal, about paperwork for taking a dog abroad, or about becoming a foster carer in Ukraine or the EU.

  • Partnership and reporting

Shelters and clinics that want to join the network, companies planning a partnership, and donors who need documents for their tax office.

Before you write

I found an injured animal right now. What do I do first?

Keep it warm, do not give food or water if it is unconscious, and photograph the animal and its surroundings. Then send us the photo and the location. Our page on finding an animal has the full first hour checklist.

Do you work outside Ukraine?

The head office is in Kyiv and our representative in Europe is based in Belgium. Most field work happens in Ukraine, and we cooperate with partner organisations elsewhere in Europe on transport and adoption.

Can I visit a shelter?

Partner shelters host visitors and volunteers by arrangement. Write first with your dates and the region, because many of them are working sites rather than public spaces.
